The Summer 2017 Projects include the following scope of work:

New Portable Classrooms (2)
This project is to install two new portable classrooms on the blacktop at El Rincon.
HVAC Project
This project is to add new HVAC to the two-story classroom building.
Storm Drainage
This project is for storm drain improvements to eliminate flooding at the campus.
“Maker Space” Classroom Tenant Improvements
This project is to modernize a classroom building to be used as a maker space for future classes.
Shade Structures at Kindergarten Yard and Removal of Spinner
The removal of existing playground equipment and installation of shade structure.
Public Announcement Upgrades
This project is to add a campus wide PA system to keep everyone on campus informed.
Hydration Stations
This project is to add various Hydration Stations to the campus.
Marquees
This project will be to add a new Digital Marquee at schools that do not currently have them.

This project includes installation of HVAC units in classroom buildings at El Rincon Elementary School.

The Phase I Projects includes the following scope of work:

Exterior Painting
The exterior of the school will be painted in the new school colors. This project is complete.
New Playgrounds
The playground improvement project at El Rincon Elementary School includes the installation of new playground surfaces and equipment for both kindergarten and elementary school children. The new play equipment will provide a number of age-appropriate activities including elevated platforms, slides and swings. Shade canopies will also be provided and will be integrated with the play equipment. New color-matching rubber play surfaces will also be installed to provide fall protection in compliance with current safety guidelines. This project is complete.
New Bicycle & Skateboard Racks
This project includes the installation of new bicycle and skateboard racks throughout the campus and has been completed.
Video Surveillance
Conduit, cable and video surveillance cameras will be installed campus wide. This project is complete.
Replace 2nd Floor Deck Waterproofing
The existing deteriorated exterior decks at the second story of the two story building will have a new waterproof surface installed. This project is complete.
Fire Alarm Repairs
Remove and replace weather damaged fire alarm conduit lines. This project is complete.
