The Summer 2017 Projects include the following scope of work:
- Auto Shop Conversion to Ceramics
This project is for the conversion of the Auto Shop to a Ceramics Lab. The work includes two new gas fired Kilns, conversion of a door to a storefront type entry, and other miscellaneous tenant improvements. - New Portable Classrooms
This project is to provide two additional classrooms. - Resurfacing of Tennis Courts
The existing Tennis Courts will be resurfaced to eliminate slip hazards. - Lacrosse Lighting
This project will be to add 4 new light towers on the Lacrosse field. - Storage at Pole Vault Area
This project is to add additional storage for pole vault equipment. - Public Announcement Upgrades
This project is to add a campus wide PA system to keep everyone on campus informed. - Hydration Stations
This project is to add various Hydration Stations to the campus. - Restroom Improvements
This project is to add privacy screens to the boy's restrooms. - Repurpose Old Ceramics Lab
This project is to repurpose the old Ceramics lab back into a standard classroom. - Fence at Nurse Office
This project is to provide security fencing for the Nurse's Office. - Existing Sports Therapy Tenant Improvements
This project is to modernize the existing Sports Therapy building. - New Career Center
Conversion of existing Home Economics Room into the new Career Center. - Fire Loop (Phase 1)
This project is to bring a new hydrant to support additional portables on the blacktop. - Library Renovation (Mezzanine)
This project will relocate the stacks to the mezzanine level (once New Career Center is complete) and add 5 Study rooms and improve the circulation area. - Cafeteria
This project is to relocate Food Services Offices within the existing lounge.

This project will be a two story modular science building planned for joint use by the Middle School and the High School. The building will be abutting the lacrosse field, adjacent to the shared border of the Middle School and the High School. The project is planned with Chemistry Labs on the upper floor for the HS and Physical Science Labs on the ground floor for the MS.

This project includes the following scopes of work:
- New Bicycle & Skateboard Racks
This project includes the installation of new bicycle and skateboard racks throughout the campus and has been completed. - Library Modernization
The improvements at Culver City High School Library include modifications to the existing Study Hall to transform the space into Learning Resource/Digital Media Lab. These improvements will transition the Study Hall into a 21st century learning environment that incorporates instruction on multiple walls using traditional and digital technology. This scope of work is specific to technology and mobile furniture systems. When configured, the new furniture systems will provide for individual, small group and large group learning environments and a testing configuration. The furniture systems will replace the current furniture in the Library Building Study Hall. This project has been completed. - Multi-Purpose Room Improvements
The improvements at Culver City High School Multi-Purpose Room will create a flexible space capable of functioning for student exams, teacher meetings, movies and community events. The design will incorporate instruction on two or three walls utilizing the existing projector system equipment and adding ultra-short throw projects for smaller instructional settings or breakout sessions on multiple walls. The scope of work is specific to technology and mobile furniture systems. When configured, the new furniture systems will provide for individual, small group and large group learning arrangements and a testing configuration. This project has been completed. - Restroom Improvements
This project is under review as part of the District Wide and Public Survey.
A total of 13 staff and student toilet rooms are scheduled to be renovated over the summer and fall. The renovation will include new epoxy flooring, wall tile, paint, partitions, accessories and lighting. The existing plumbing fixtures that are in good condition will be reinstalled with new fittings. Only 1 bid was received, which was not approved. - New Lacrosse Slab
Installation of a new concrete slab adjacent to the Lacrosse Field for placement of the Lacrosse Benches. This project has been completed. - Frost Swing Space
Re-purpose and convert the existing Photo Lab (Classroom 108, Color Darkroom and Black & White Darkroom) into classroom and performance space for relocation of the AVPA during the construction of Frost Auditorium. This project has been completed. - Field House Electrical
Install a new electrical box near the Snack Bar for use by vendors during athletic events. This project has been completed.

This project had an original Design Cost of $13.7M and was completed for a final Project Cost of $9.3M. It includes a new track and new football, baseball, softball, lacrosse and soccer fields.
